Digging up your inner joy!

I have always been an equestrian. From a young age I have been riding horses and even competitions. We moved to an area where there are stables close by. When I was sick and having my chemo this last time, we would go to the stables and walk. We would "sniff the horses". Pure joy. Finding this joy has opened a part of me that I had stifled away. It almost hurt too much to recognize it. After all I haven't owned a horse in MANY years.

Now Taylor has been bitten by the horse bug and has been taking riding lessons and went to summer Horse Camp.

I found "Ned". When I look at these pictures I feel like I am glowing. This is the true essence of who I am. (After, of course being a Mom)

This makes me happy...

We all went to the Pirates Dinner Adventure in Buena Park this week. I tell you watching my kids have fun is to me the happiest thing on this earth. You can see the joy on their faces as OUR pirate sat for a picture with them. We all let our hair down and cheered wildly for the good guys.

I look at this picture and see fun. It is so hard to find something to do where everyone has a good time.

Take the time in your life, every day, to make your choice to be happy.

Everyday you have a choice....

A person will be just about as happy as they make up their mind to be.

Don't be a victim of circumstance. Choose to see each day as a brand new gift. Use it wisely. Have fun. Smile (even if it's fake...it be real soon enough)
